SALES AND DELIVERIES

We have 2 options available for selling your boat ie through a registered broker via Yachtworld or privately vía our big FB group and certain websites.

1. If your boat is in Luperon or USVI and is over USD100,000 then you can list her through our registered International Yacht Brokers Association broker for 10 percent commission where she will be listed on Yacht World for excellent coverage. We do a walk through video and show her.

Marketing

Should you be interested in selling your boat privately and find you are too busy to deal with on-going marketing and handling initial enquiries plus showing her etc., then over the years we have found an excellent way to sell vessels by marketing them on a weekly basis on our very own large FB “boats for sale group” https://www.facebook.com/groups/1597526780553819 to ensure excellent exposure as most boats for sale groups only allow one advert which disappears down the thread whereas our adverts come up again once/week.
We also market our boats on marketplace, on our own website, on sailboatlistings.com to ensure good exposure.

We handle the initial enquiries and after discussion, should the potential buyers still be interested, we pass them onto you.

Should you be able to strike a deal then ask us for examples of purchase and sales agreements.

For our weekly marketing and referral service we charge:

* 2.5 percent for boats over USD50,000 and;
* 5 percent for boats under USD50,000

which is only payable once you receive payment on the sale.

If your boat is in Luperon, DR we can also show her at USD50 including pick up and return to the dinghy dock plus we can also arrange same in Grenada and USVI.

We can also assist your buyer with info on transport, accommodation, surveyors etc at no cost.

Please note, we are not accredited in any way for Survey Insurance purposes so this is purely a basic check with feedback and lots of pictures to see if the boat is worth following up on to save you time and money flying in to view it for the first time!
If you are interested in a boat for sale in Luperon or Grenada then we can provide you with a report on how we viewed the boat overall together with approximately 50 photo's USD25/hour in Luperon, DR and the same service can be arranged in Grenada and USVI (it usually takes 4 hours including travel-time, viewing, typing up the report and sending the email). After having viewed our report/pictures and you decide to fly into Luperon or Grenada,USVI we will be only too happy to assist you with contact details regarding haul-out facilities, accommodation, land taxi services, etc. and If you get to the stage where you want to look at buying the boat and require a "pre-purchase survey/appraisal on the condition and valuation of it for insurance purposes", then we recommend that you find out from the insurance company you are thinking of using which "Association of Accredited Marine Surveyors" they want you to use, which are usually:

and within these sites you will find a lot of Certified/Accredited Marine Surveyors to chose from and we can also put you in contact with locally Certified Surveyors who can undertake the work for you.
In Dominican Republic we have come across the below two certified surveyors:

2. http://www.schad.do/ where it seems they also have a certified Navtech surveyor on their team.

PRE-HANDOVER CHECKS ON BOATS YOU ARE PURCHASING IN GRENADA OR LUPERON DR:
Prior to you finalizing a sale with a private seller or a broker in Luperon, Grenada or USVI then we can check and photograph all equipment such as dinghy, life-raft, sails, etc. to make sure everything is in order. before you complete the deal at the above rates/hour in Luperon.

DELIVERIES
We can also arrange deliveries with our commercially registered yacht master captain who has over 25 years experience on deliveries and charters on client’s boats with approximately 150,000 nm under his belt.
